The pellet is an environmentally-friendly and regenerating energy form. The pellets are manufactured from by-products of the wood processing industry, such as sawdust and woodchip. As a renewable source of energy, pellets do not cause harmful emissions into the atmosphere.
A pellet contains more energy than any other wood-based fuel: one kilogram of pellets generates nearly 5 kWh. Compared to using oil or direct electricity, pellets are clearly more inexpensive.
