L&T Biowatti started operations at the beginning of 1994 as a subsidiary of Metsäliitto. In the beginning, the company developed a market for the by-products of mechanical forestry.
The second main goal was to initiate forest raw material procurement together with Metsäliitto. In the beginning of 2005, the company was entirely purchased by its operational management and became a subsidiary of L&T in the beginning of 2007.
We have experienced rapid growth throughout the history of the company. We are looking far into the future and would like to be a pioneer, and an even more significant actor, in the developing market.
